Do you charge for Parents?
Yes, everyone pays to come into the building. A non-skating parent (if coming in at the same time as their children) will pay $5.00. If they come at a later time it will be full price!
If my friends are coming to skate, do I need to pay, if I’m not skating?
Everyone entering the building pays.
Do you sell food?
Yes! Skateland West offers Slushies, Pizza, Oscar Myer ALL BEEF Hot Dogs, Pretzels, & Ricos Nachos. We also offer Pepsi products.
Can I bring in food from the outside?
We do not allow outside food or drink. The only outside food/drinks we allow during our open skating session is a birthday cake, and you MUST have a Birthday Party Reservation. Check out our Public Birthday Parties!
Do you have a dress code?
Yes, we do! Appearances must be neat and clean. No suggestive or vulgar language on clothes. Bare clothing isnât allowed. No tank tops, under shirts, cut off shirts. Shirts must be fully closed, no open backs or bare stomachs. No hats may be worn in the building. We solicit the patronage of those who wish to comply and they will be strictly enforced.
Can we chew gum, or smoke?
NO! We do not allow gum chewing, OR smoking of any kind!
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, at the front office.
Do you take requests for songs?
Yes, we have a music library with over 7,000 songs. Our Floor Host will make every effort to get your favorite song on!
Can I rent Skateland West privately?
Yes! We offer Exclusive Events on select days of the week. Checkout our Private Parties page for more information.
How far in advance do I need to make party reservations?
As a rule of thumb, Open Events should be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance, and Exclusive Events usually require at least 30 days, up to as much as 6 months, depending on availability. We do not book last minute parties! Please plan accordingly.
What forms of payments do you allow?
Cash Only!
Can I pay with a check?
We do not accept personal checks.
What size skates do you rent?
Regular Skates: Juvenile size 7 to adult size 15.
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. We allow all kinds of regular roller skates and inline skates. Your own skates must be safe and clean.
Can I wear my Heelys?
We do not allow heely type skates, Hover boards, or skateboards, and other non- approved equipment.

If my child doesnât skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her?
During open skate times, we do not allow parents to enter the skating floor, with shoes on, to help their children skate.
